KnockLions Special Olympics

Last Updated (Thursday, 25 February 2010 13:53) Written by Administrator

Great news for all Special Olmpics Athletes and newcomers to Special Olympics sports!!

We are now nearly ready to launch our new special Olympics Athletes club in the D16 area!

It has been decided that the venue for the new Athletics club will be St. Colmcille's Community School, Scholarstown Road, Knocklyon, Dublin 16.

Training will take place every Thursday evening for 1 hour approximately from 6pm to 7pm, starting in early March (subject to confirmation).

In order to become part of this club there is a form that each athlete needs to complete prior to taking part.

The registration process is a once off exercise so it is important tha the form(s) are filled in correctly as you will not be able to participate until the forms are received and verified by Special Olympics Ireland.

Once completed and signed off by Special Olympics Ireland, this form remains valid for 5 years provided there are no changes in the athletes medical situation.
